Narrow gap allows for full engagement in hook to prevent slip-off.
Material: high tensile forged alloy steel.
Construction: quenched and tempered.

Inspection Before Use
1.WLL should be clearly marked.
2. The safety buckle should be installed properly and function normally.
3. Check whether the hook is deformed, cracked, worn or corroded. Note: The wear of the surface of the hook bearing should not exceed 8% of the nominal size.
4. Check that the opening of the hook is within the manufacturer's parameters. If the hook is over-opened, this is a sign that it has been point loaded or overloaded.
5. Moving parts such as release cams should be checked for free movement.
6. If the hook is a ball rotating hook, check that the hook is rotating freely and the bearing is not making any unusual noise. Unusual noise is usually a sign of bearing fatigue or bearing failure.
7. If the hook has a threaded shank, make sure that the thread is in good condition and the nut rotates freely on the thread
